Our Statement of Faith
There is one God. He is revealed as the Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative
Word of God.
Jesus Christ, being fully God,
became fully human, was born to a virgin and was tempted, but never
sinned.
Jesus died on the cross as the only
possible payment for our sins and rose from the dead three days later.
He ascended to the right hand of the Father and shall physically come
again in power and with great glory.
The Kingdom of God is a present and
eternal reality.
Salvation is a free gift of God that
comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Real faith produces
repentance (a change of mind concerning sin) and results in a new life,
where one is born again by the Holy Spirit.
Water Baptism is commanded by Christ
and is available to all believers. This personal encounter with
the Holy Spirit helps the believer identify with the reality of Christ's
death, burial and resurrection.
The Holy Spirit lives in all true
believers, enabling them to live righteous and holy lives.
The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is
available to all believer's to empower them to do His works through the
gifts He freely bestows.
There is a coming day of God's
judgment and wrath.
There will be a
resurrection
of the dead: the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal
punishment.
The five-fold ministry gifts of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and
Teacher are all in existence today. These were given by Christ to the
church to equip and mature believers so they can be released to do the
work of the ministry.
All believers should be connected to
a local church where they are taught the Word of God, can develop
productive relationships, and be trained to fulfill their God-given
purpose.
All believers in the Lord Jesus
Christ are one and equal in Him.
